Founded in 1984 as an outreach of Lifeline ChildrenŐs Services to young women in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy; Lifeline Village is a Christian home for women who may be at risk and facing: abuse, neglect, or other difficult circumstances during this time. Lifeline Village offers expectant mothers confidentiality in a safe, secure atmosphere. The Village provides a home, meals, continuing education, medical care including prenatal care to each young woman living at the home. Lifeline Village provides a counselor who meets for one-on-one sessions and in group settings with each young woman during their stay at the village.
Lifeline Village provides opportunities for spiritual, physical and emotional growth through church, job training, and occupational opportunities while assisting with job and housing placement when women graduate from the program.
Lifeline Village is a non-denominational, privately funded organization with 501(c)(3) certification that operates thanks to the help of individuals, companies, churches and other groups.
